Elia restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences, with some customers enjoying flavorful dishes and friendly service, while others had disappointing encounters with delays and overcooked food. The menu showcases big portions and tasty options, though some dishes like the octopus fell short. The ambiance, service, and BYO policy may vary, but overall, Elia offers a decent Greek dining alternative to other local options. The friendly staff and fresh ingredients received praise, but inconsistencies in service and food quality raised concerns. Despite this, many diners found satisfaction in their meals and expressed intentions of returning to Elia in the future.

We had a good meal over the holiday season. We were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant. The portions are BIG. The lamb kabob was great while the chicken and pork were good. We loved a feta cheese in phylo dough with honey. However the big miss was the octopus. It was a huge serving but grossly overcooked and chewy. The waitress was very cordial. However at the end of the meal it was surprising that since we were the only people in the entire restaurant that i literally had to go the the reception area to ask for the check because she was MIA. Overall, we suspect that the main chef was not working that night accounting for the glitches but it was a nice and better option compared to other local greek restaurants like Arpeggio .

We loved our meal! My husband and I went to Elia before a show at the Keswick. The waiter, a native Greek, was fantastic and spot-on with his recommendations. We shared the grilled octopus, which was perfectly prepared, and three-dip appetizers. For our entree, we shared a whole grilled orata, which our waiter recommended over the branzino. It was fabulous, as were the potatoes and Greek salad served with it. Dessert was yummy. Everything was so fresh. Only issue for us is we forgot it was BYO, a nice white would have been perfect. We will not forget that next time, as we will definitely be back.

I was looking for good Greek food to cater for a buddy's birthday. I decided to try Elia's because their variety of dessert options was more than any other place I looked up online, despite that they're 20 miles away from where I live and I had triedtheir food only once before while working in the area. I'm very happy that I did because the food tasted great and everyone atthe party felt the same way. My buddy really liked the dolmades and everyone loved the lemon potatoes, they were full offlavor. Everyone wanted to know where the food came from. Also, the orange pie was delicious although heavier than it looks. Icouldn't finish a whole slice but it still tasted great the next day. One thing I'd like to note is that although I was onlythere for a short while, I arrived too early to pick up the food so I sat and waited a few minutes, I could see the attention todetail that is carried out by the staff. They were very courteous, polite and genuinely concerned about satisfying their guests.Sophia offered me a drink while I waited which I thought was very nice. Most restaurants don't show that kind of courtesy towaiting patrons. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with this establishment and I would definitely recommend it to anyonelooking for tasty food in a welcoming atmosphere.

Only reason I did not give 5 stars is because as a handicapped person, this location has limited accommodations. The food is awesome. Portions were large. Dessert was so delicious. We all had food ro bring home. Service was exceptional. Everything waspaced well. We weren't made to feel like we had to hurry up and finish. We went for early dinner on a Saturday. By 6pm, theplace was packed. Recommend going early. Other than several mobility limitations, I would recommend this place.
