I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy but nonetheless the service was great. The food was tasty and well priced. I ordered a side of sausage and the Big Guy which came with French toast, 1 pancake, bacon, eggs, and home fries. I love how crispy the home fries were and the portions of the sausages. They also serve alcohol! I highly recommend making a reservation before coming. Also the address on the sit... View all feedback.
What Waylon Mohr doesn't like about Bernie's Restaurant Bar Glenside:
Bernie wants to find a new place. When sitting, we noticed some flies near our table. Our waiter must have put us out, as it was a nice evening. The tables out there were a bit tacky, despite trying to balance them. Our appetizer was good. My Hubby ordered the chicken marsala. He said there was no taste. The waiter made it right with another selection. Overall, great ambience, but the food is met or miss. View all feedback.
My husband and I loved this place. It has a great atmosphere and some vegetarian options. We haven't been here lately because prices have risen. It was cold and rainy so we can try it again. The food was still pretty good, but expensive. The frits were obviously recovered in the oven. We loved this place to think it? Note our records in 3 places and the credit card fee. The kitchen also closed at 8:30, but it should close at 10 o'clock.
I've been trying to taste her food for three years, my second time in the facility and the first time. I was Sunday afternoon. You have brunch until 3:00. And dinner starts at 4. The menu was slightly smaller than the dinner menu. But everything was perfect waitress was helpful. Sitting is nice several TVs to enjoy the game the food was great and in the whole environment beautiful atmosphere. It is getting colder outside, but outside the restaurant they also have available for summer accommodation.
When I arrived, I was told that I couldn't sit without a reservation because they were short staff and didn't walk. After the explanation that I tried to book on OpenTable, but it suggested I call it. And when I called her earlier, I was told to just come. So they made an exception that was told me and set me up. The service was great, my waitress was really attentive. The food was surprisingly delicious! I ordered the Petite Filets. Mash potatoes were incredible, vegetables on point, but my steak was a little chewing and I order mine medium. The shells with the garlic sauce were great! These Hawaiian sliders were so good! Made with real ham! (See photo My cocktail was also great! The first was really good, the second was really strong? When you talk inside, bring a sweater or a jacket as I was glittering (that's another story? Total good experience.

I really like some of the food at this restaurant the poutine, Mac and cheese, and encrusted goat cheese are all excellent. However I wouldn't get the crab cakes again. The ambiance is great. I love the option to sit outside (with heat lamps when it's colder) and the decor is relaxing. Service is on the slower side so I wouldn't go if you're in a time crunch, but the atmosphere makes the wait fine. Keep the wait in mind with small kids though. The inside has so much ambient noise that I didn't mind if they got a little impatient. It didn't seem noticeable. But the wait can be stressful if you aren't sure how your kids will manage.
