This place looks so fun to eat and drink almost feels like the beach nearby. It has a rocky point type vibe. Outside seat bar and live music! I ordered the Mixteca special cocktail and it hit the spot, flavors were on point. I like this place so much that I tell all my neighbors and friends about it and get out for their Taco Tuesday Happy Hour! View all feedback.
What Christelle Tessier doesn't like about Mixteca Mexican Food:
I ordered 3 rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. The man said 7.44 total. I thought wow that?s pricey! As you can see no meat until half way through the taco. The meat does not taste good and looks like potted meat along with the texture. Not shreddedbeef or chicken. I should of just went to Filabertos down the street!! This is not good guys!! Def a discussion in the officeyuk! View all feedback.
Having worked here, I know the owner Bill keeps a clean kitchen. He cares about quality and is involved a lot, MOST restaurants have managers that don?t care. The food is pretty darn good. I haven?t worked here in 10 years but I still crave the food and goback when I?m hungry and on that side of town. My experience this time was just as good as 10 years ago.

They have a fantastic selection of foods and beverages to choose from. Their food and service was top notch. I recently had to loose some weight (cutting carbs where I can) and they were very accommodating by allowing me to order a Machaca Beef Burrito ina bowl instead of a tortilla. In the past I've also had one of their breakfast burritos. Both times I was impressed by howwonderful the food tasted. The atmosphere is fun and engaging with plenty of frequent events/activities. Will definitely becoming back here!!
-The iced tea tasted like liquid dirt. -The taco salad did not come with dressing and I had to pay extra for salsa. However, it wasn't rung up, it was just a dollar for salsa, before I said how much I wanted. No tax? Shady? -Not all salsas were availableat the drive thru. And the two I got were awful. -The quacamole was super acidic as if was about to go bad. -Sour cream wasmissing. -The receipt was typed correctly. -Apparently the machaca beef and chicken look the same. So when I called to say I hadreceived the wrong one, the girl was super nice. Come back get the correct meat. Then she calls me back to say the cook knows hegave me the beef and they look similar. When I said I tasted it, it is chicken, I was then asked to take a picture and text it.In response, I received a photo of the chicken and beef next to each other with a message of, that is the beef, hun. -That wasthe driest, mouth sticking together beef I have ever had. -Husband tried it and agreed, it was inedible. -I take that back. Thelettuce, cheese, tomato, and olives were fine. -Will not be back.
Mediocre, fast casual Mexican food. You order at a counter and find your own seat. Service was fine. Food was also fine, nothing remarkable and was also lukewarm. We tried the Mexican pizza and pollo asado burrito enchilada style. They did have a nice patioset up with fire tables, but also a live DJ on Friday night at 7pm with two rough looking older individuals dancing on the dance floor.
