I had been to this spot a few years back when they were still called Small Town Coffeehouse, and I hadn't been overly impressed at the time. I decided to give them another try after the name change and menu refresh, and I'm happy I did! I went with a medium (20 oz) iced mocha with cherry syrup added and it was very good, just about the perfect level of sweetness (I like my mochas on the sweeter side). I also got an a... I really loved this place the first few times I went in, great coffee and love the menu. Tends to be a bit of a wait, so I began to call ahead. Last time I went in, called my order 4 minutes before I got there. Ordered hot. Coffee was cold. I politely let them know it was cold, the male owner got upset with me saying, well you placed a to go order. I said that was literally 4 minutes ago. Then he gave me eye rolling and attitude while he told sometime else to remake it and walked away. Very unprofessional. Then when they gave me the new drink, it was not hot either! The issue was not that it sat too long, it was they weren't bringing the drink to temp. I order to go coffee from Starbucks at least 3 times a week and it's never cold. Lattes don't get cold in 5 minutes or immediately for that matter if they're made correctly. If he had a good attitude about it and took time to understand, I'd have no problem. Before this I'd only gotten iced coffee and it was always good. Just the service made me never want to come back.I didnt bother letting them know the second drink was also cold given the attitude I was given the first go round.A good business means good customer service and unfortunately this guy is lacking... ??
I absolutely love this place! It’s my favorite coffee shop. I find myself stopping by for two coffees a day just to make sure I visit (even if they’re closed) or driving 30 minutes out of my way to get here. The entire team is wonderful; there’s something truly special about being greeted by name and having them remember your family's order! Food: 5/5
I visited this place a few years ago when it was still known as Small Town Coffeehouse, and my first impression wasn't great. However, I decided to give it another chance after the name change and menu update, and I'm really glad I did! I ordered a medium (20 oz) iced mocha with added cherry syrup, and it was excellent—just the right amount of sweetness, which I prefer in my mochas. I also tried the acai bowl, specifically the peanut butter banana option, but swapped peanut butter for almond butter. It featured a delightful frozen layer of acai sorbet topped with sliced bananas, granola, shredded coconut, a scoop of almond butter, and a drizzle of honey. It was delicious! This made for a light breakfast, and it's perfect for when you're on the go. This place might just become my go-to coffee spot nearby!
The best latteI've ever had! Soo yummy, they no longer serve vegan pastries but they have a vegan tamale that is sooooo good!
Love this place. It’s the only place I’ll splurge dollars and calories on a coffee drink. I’m a black coffee gal except for the cardamom rose latte here. Beautiful and delicious. They have MUGS!!!
