Casa Layla Mexican - Glendale

I discovered this restaurant through Local Flavor, and I was impressed! The service was excellent, and the food was delightful. I typically don't order rice and beans, but I couldn't resist after seeing them in some photos. They were fantastic! The rice was perfectly moist, and the beans had a wonderful flavor and texture. From my seat, I was able to see the kitchen staff chopping fresh paprika, tomatoes, and corn for each order, which really highlights the freshness of the food. I highly recommend this place!

The service was excellent and the shredded beef enchilada was amazing. The sauce had a smokey chipotle flavor that was out of the charts. That's a good Mexican family. Nothing special to see, but comfortable, colorful and clean. I'm back.

Simple, homely atmosphere with friendly staff and food that tastes fresh and authentic, while also very affordable. I had the pollo asado burrito $9.65) filled with chicken, guac, beans and cheese. Comes with lettuce/tomato on the side and choice of a salad or rice and beans. Would definitely come again

This charming little restaurant is fantastic! It has a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The chips and salsa are made fresh for each table, and they are absolutely delicious! The food is excellent, and they also offer refreshing flavored water. We've definitely found our new go-to spot for Mexican cuisine, and the prices are very affordable!
