We had lunch here which was ok, but the menu contained mostly burgers and similar rather than the tapas style of food we were expecting. I had a Burrito Benedict which was a wrap filled with bacon, a lot of spanish onion and very rich cheese and hollandaise sauce. There was no evidence of the avocado mentioned on the menu which might have lessened the overload of richness. My partner had a beef burger which was fine but nothing out of the ordinary. Tapashere is ok for a quick burger but if you are after real tapas you might be disappointed.
We were stunned by the deliciousness of the tapas at this little restaurant. Everything about our meal was perfect ....the bread was fresh and crunchy, the flavours complemented each other in wonderful ways, and the service was just right. The waitress was informative and helpful explaining the various dishes. We will certainly return.
After hearing a rave review about the food and service here I went for lunch with family. The waitress was lovely and she looked after us really well. Ordered the salt and pepper squid and a croissant with filling. The meals were delivered and we were disappointed with the portion sizes of the squid. The croissant took a while longer to come out but was worth the wait. The salad that came with the squid was really fresh and yummy and the dipping sauces were good.I was disappointed the squid was pre-packaged frozen squid. Otherwise a nice place to have lunch.
I decided to visit this restaurant for lunch with my family after hearing great reviews about the food and service. Our waitress was very attentive and took good care of us. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari and a filled croissant. When our meals arrived, we were disappointed by the small portion size of the calamari. The croissant took a bit longer to be served, but it was worth the wait. The salad that came with the calamari was fresh and tasty, and the dipping sauces were good. However, I was disappointed to learn that the calamari was frozen. Overall, it's a nice place to have lunch.
We had lunch at this restaurant, which was okay, but we were surprised to find that the menu mostly featured burgers and similar items instead of the tapas-style food we were expecting. I ordered a burrito benedict, which was filled with speck, Spanish tweezers, and rich cheese and hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, there was no avocado as mentioned on the menu to help balance out the overwhelming flavors. My partner had a rindburger, which was good but nothing special. Overall, Tapashere is fine for a quick burger, but those looking for authentic tapas may be disappointed.
