Was Anonym at Nullfaur a mag?
I love this place it's my go to place when I feel like a curry. It's so cheap with the option of small sizes. Easily the best and freshest cooked naan bread I've ever tasted. Sometimes I just get the bread when I'm walking past! Fresh cooked straight from the oven, yum. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Nullfaur:
Desperate for an Indian and with limited options in the area we opted to order a take away from Nullfaur. BIG mistake. We regularly eat Indian food back in England and were hoping to satisfy our curry urge. Unfortunately the Naan bread was barely cooked and cold and both our curries very poor.Would not recommend. The food is amazing. So many options. Such good quality!! Amazing prices. Generous portions. Eat here!!!
This is a tiny Indian take away/dine in restaurant just off the main strip of Acland St, St Kilda. The prices of food and drinks are amazingly low and the staff are friendly and helpful. The quality of the large range of dishes is high by any standard, let alone your average back-packer style takeaway.
I love this place. We have takeaway from here regularly. We Order online and pick it up. Never had an issues with the food or service. Only ever experienced great food.

We ordered delivery to our home and the food was fantastic. It arrived hot, fresh, with generous portions, and bursting with flavor. The cottage cheese and potato dumpling curry was outstanding, as was the Dhal and chicken Tikka. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Great Indian restaurant for some take away, loved the first time we went that we came back the same week. My partner liked the chicken Biriani, also highly recommend the mango chicken, I thought the Palek paneer was lacking flavour and not enough paneer cottage cheese) could do with some more in the large! Also decent size samosa,s I really enjoyed the vegetarian with the sweet sauce provided but need to ask for it, would be better if they offered it as we forgot the first time. All in all great place and service just a few improvements
The Food:<br/ I've been a Nullfaur customer for a year now. Their quality of food went downhill last year. But over the past few months their food has greatly increased in quality, just like I use to remember it. I was contacted by management to give my suggestions. I'm glad to know they appreciated my opinion and improved their dishes. The quality is now 10/10. Their vegetarian options are amazing especially the Thali, aloo gobi, palak paneer, daal, mixed vegatbles and naan bread. Their vegan options are some of the best I've had in Melbourne. They have a selection of wines and indian beers to enjoy food with.<br/ <br/ The venue:<br/ A small venue with a seating of 12 approx. Not the best for a romantic date or a fine dining experience, it's a casual venue. It does get very busy here and therefore noisy at times.<br/ <br/ The people:<br/ Very friendly. I was blown away by the manager, I didn't get his name but he is a young man with brilliant customer service skill. I always get great service here and any issues are immediately resolved.<br/ <br/ Overall:<br/ Glad to see Nullfaur valuing their customers suggestions, they really care. Not the best venue, but the food and service blows me away everytime.
I've been coming here for 3 years now. The service was excellent and the quality of the food was brilliant at the start, the curries were very flavorsome and rich. But somewhere in the middle the quality went down. The curries became more watery and blander than usual. I thought it was a one off thing but it continued happening. The service became more rushed and I noticed newer staff who didn't seem to care about providing quality customer service. I gave up on Nullfaur then. <br/ <br/ It was after a few months that I noticed Nullfaur was much more active on social media. They made a post and mentioned that they were open to any customer feedback and suggestions. I sent them a message and expressed how I felt about Nullfaur's recent lack of food and service quality. I got a reply from them and I could clearly see the care they showed for their customers. They remembered me and even my exact order! They said they've collected a ton of feedback and have worked on fixing all previous issues and invited me to visit again. I decided to give Nullfaur another chance and I went in the next day. I was greeted with a big smile from the manager and had a great conversation with the staff at the counter who were all very friendly. I could see my order being prepared fresh from where I was standing, the aroma was incredible and I had a feeling Nullfaur was back. <br/ <br/ I was right. I took home what I must say was one of the best Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Prawn Curry I've ever had. No more watery and bland curries. These were rich, full of flavour, just like I remembered Nullfaur to be. I've ordered almost everyday since then and each time I'm delighted by the food and service!<br/ <br/ I would urge all new customers to ignore the previous reviews here as they are BEFORE when Nullfaur decided to fix things up. They've made a lot of changes in their food and their service in the past few weeks and they certainly deserve another chance. They've shown true business spirit of positively taking feedback and working on it, good job Nullfaur.

Bad...to the level of being Pathetic. The Koftas (smelling of raw garlic), the egg biryani....everything we ordered was bad. Not even close to the Indian food we have grown up eating.
It looks and smells so authentic, the staff were lovely and really helpful but the food just didn't quite meet expectations. Nan was a bit burnt and dry, butter chicken very sugary and not creamy, salad way too salty and curries just a little bland. Ok but not great.
We were really looking forward to getting our first Indian in the Melbourne/St Kilda area. We found this place which seemed much cheaper than most other options and had a quick delivery time. We ordered 3 mains; Chicken Korma, Chicken Madras and Butter Chicken. We also got 4 Roti, 2 rice and 1 naan bread. The portions were okay for the price but good be slightly more generous with the sauces all three were quite dry. Rice portion was big enough for 2 per 1 container which is good! The Madras was really really spicy despite only ordering a medium, my partner usually goes hot and the medium was even too hot for him he couldn't finish it. My butter chicken was nice but didn't taste like any butter chicken I've ever had before, wasn't quite as creamy and had a strong tomato tasting base compared to usual. The chicken korma was nice however again not as creamy as you would usually expect. Overall I probably wouldn't order again without the 1st order discount but other people would probably enjoy it until you can find somewhere better.

Got some takeaway today and wanted to make sure I wrote a review of it straight away. We only got a samosa, a chicken buriyani and a dinner pack from the Bain- Marie. One word- Excellenct!! The food wasn't heavy and oily like other indian takeaway. Very simple, falvoursome and delicious. This will be my new fav Indian takeaway.
