There was blue... read more I found Jig's Kitchen while visiting the St Kilda Library. It's a cozy café located right next to the library and across from St Kilda Town Hall. There was blues music playing when I walked in, and the staff greeted me warmly. Instead of getting takeaway, I decided to dine in. The atmosphere was inviting, and the food, which consisted of pies, toasties, and other comforting dishes, was delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

The owners are so friendly and fun to chat with or just hang around reading the paper and listing to a bit of soul music in the back ground. I start work very early sometimes so it is great to have a place to stop before 6am and grab a coffee or lunch for later.... I highly recommend giving this jive eatery a go!

Beautiful, quality fillings and wonderful flaky pastry. Just like your grandma used to make :) We tried the chicken and leek and beef burgundy. We rated them 10/10. Great lunch. Awesome friendly service. Thank you.
