Edna's Place - Glen Eira

There are seats on the street, inside and in a sunny deck in the back. I dined inside and had my coffee with one of the special meals of chicken parma with chips and salad (for only $15). My meal wasn't like the huge pub meals you could see, but was a great value at the price. Other specialties include chicken pasta, roasted beef sandwiches, and a mushroom burger. The café also has Wi-Fi. My coffee was a bit bitter, but otherwise good. I was immediately supplied with water without having to ask.

Great little place. Quirky. Nice coffee. Sweet atmosphere. Great for a pickup. Menu looks good even though we just had coffee.

This café is very welcoming with friendly and quick service, and the food is fantastic. The Reuben sandwich and Wiener Schnitzel were both outstanding, freshly made and nicely presented. The prices are appropriate for the quality. Definitely recommended for a visit.

Always nice to see a few oldie's in a place. Not a disappointment either. I hade Cajun Chicken Burger which was delicious and the accompaning chis were sensational. My partner had a chicken salad Wrap which she also said was delicious Coffee was pretty good...Staff were very helpful Setting was quite plane but lunch was very pleasant and meals were large very good value for terrific food Worth a visit

This is a great spot to meet up with a friend for coffee and a peaceful conversation, or grab a casual lunch. I particularly liked the chicken livers that I had a few times.
