Mikie's Diner - Glen Burnie

I've been here a few times, but this time is the worst. Waited about 5-8 minutes for someone who brings us menus and asks for drinks, think they were not busy. Finally ordered my plate was brought to me with a white piece of plastic directly on my food. I told my waitress I wouldn't eat anything she just brought me. I heard the waitress and the cook over the apparent plastic. Waited for a new plate for 10 minutes and half the food was cold. Finally, food waited another 10 minutes in the hope that the waitress would come to bring the check, never happened when she played on her phone. After all, I got up and went to the register to pay without control. I understand this is a small place with 2 waiters and can be busy. Apparently not busy enough for the waiters to sit down and laugh with each other.

I think people need to realize that there are only ever really 2 girls serving. They do the best they can. The food is good and normally at night there is 1 cook. So some of these reviews are unfair to the workers who bust there tail every night and morning. They please everyone, but normally people are happy with there performance.

Mikie's is a great place for food outstanding service at a very reasonable price good Homestyle Cooking and comfort food would recommend it for anybody with children on a budget.

Visited this Diner based on a friends recommendation. The food is affordable, great portions, and tastes good! Staff is friendly as well! Definitely give them a try! I've been here twice now in 1 week...I got the big breakfast sandwich the first time and the crab cake sliders with fries my second time. Both tasted awesome. Go and try for yourself!

I am French and was looking for a fine dining experience. I had the best meal of my long trip along the East Coast at this restaurant!
