Biggest challenge is deciding between all their great regular menu items and their usual great specials! This local spot offers a great breakfast menu, keeping things simple, just as it should be. The pancakes were large, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the ham steak was nicely grilled. The service was friendly, yet it was clear that they don’t tolerate any nonsense. We will definitely be returning!
What a charming little restaurant! It's not fancy, but the friendly staff serves great food at reasonable prices for a home-cooked meal. I absolutely love the macaroni and cheese. The employees are incredibly kind and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to dine for good food without any fuss. It's clear that this spot is a local favorite. However, it could benefit from offering healthier options, as the only real choice for those on a diet is a salad.
It wasn't bad, but I didn't find it exceptional either. I ordered a burger, and it was quite plain in flavor. The fries were decent, but they could have been cooked a bit longer. I might drop by again, but it's not one of my top choices in the area.
Our food arrived hot; the grilled cheese sandwich was delicious, although it was missing the sliced tomato I had asked for. Nonetheless, it was still very tasty. The soup was also hot and came packed with navy beans and pieces of ham. My friend's burger was excellent, while she found the green beans to be just average. The total bill was $19.98, and I left a $5 tip for the attentive and excellent service we received.
