This little cafe was delightful. We immediately felt at home and fell in love with these warm and friendly folks. The owner Joe, his wife and the service staff greeted us every time we visited like we were family. The food and coffee was reasonable...and definitely delicious. What Magali Hahn doesn't like about Glebe Cafe:
It's ANZAC Day and the buzzy Esca two doors down is overflowing. Glebe Deli found it difficult to cope with its extra customers. The motel-style omelette eventually came with white bread (no choice), butter in a package ... No imagination or flair. (The butter used to be served here in little pots). The customer service was always good when I'm here. I had some of the best falafels. a good falafel is hard to come. Lebanese bakers are delicious.
Decent coffee and quiet atmosphere, but this atmosphere could be attributed to the rude staff that are anything but helpful. the employees are disrespectful and often get false orders, not to understand the meaning of allergy requirements. do not recommend to go here if compared to other coffee shops so close. I work on the road and went 3 times, because the same happens every time, I will go the extra 10 steps to get my morning coffee smiled with a smile and as I asked to do it.
Large coffee, fantastic Lebanese homemade food, beautiful people! always happy also in busy times. open after other caffes have closed for the afternoon.
