Bhojan Nepalese Indian Cuisines - GLEBE
Bhojan Nepalese Indian Cuisines
Description
Bhojan restaurant, formerly known as Kathmandu Terrace, offers a mix of reviews. While some diners found the food to be overpriced, small in portion size, and lacking in quality, others praised the delicious and authentic cuisine. The ambiance was noted as lovely, with friendly and accommodating staff. Customers especially enjoyed the buffet on Wednesdays for $15. Overall, Bhojan is recommended for those seeking a taste of Nepalese cuisine on Glebe Point Road.

Dined here a few weeks ago, it's ok, just another local restaurant really. The food was ok, a bit stingy really, $2.50 for 2 papadums? Really. Please!! Give us a break, not even great ones. Desperaty needs to be air conditioned, it was just too hot on a warm day to be a comfortable experience. Probably wouldn't go back. The owner is one of those people who plants himself and a few friends at a table and then leaves one person to do the work while he just chills. No no no!!!
Complete garbage! placed an order three hours ago and am still waiting. After waiting until the estimated delivery time, I tried to call the restaurant. Had to call multiple times before getting an answer but the woman only took my number and said she'd call me back. That was two hours ago and she hasn't bothered. I had to call Menulog to chase it up, and even they couldn't get through. They eventually connected me to someone at the restaurant who is now claiming that they don't have an order, even though it's been confirmed twice. The restaurant is about to close and still there's no delivery. This place is a joke.
Came here with Groupon $60 credit to spend. Food was good. Took 20mins for the entrée and another 10mins for the main to be served. Waitress was helpful and friendly. They could use some music for the otherwise dull background. It was a great deal after all. They offer $15 'buffet' on tue-thu which is also a great deal. May return if I happen to be around the area.
The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance, offering a fine dining experience for a curry house. While the vegetable samosas resembled a pastry reminiscent of French onion soup and were a bit of a letdown, the garlic and cheese naan was delicious—though I personally would have preferred a little more garlic. The fish curry was outstanding. I also ordered a beef vindaloo for takeout to try tonight and see how they handle the spice level. On a positive note, the service was excellent. I would definitely return, just with a different starter!
We enjoyed the seafood banquet for eight people, and the experience was excellent. The service was attentive, and all the dishes were outstanding. The prawn starter was delightful, and the dosa was perfectly crispy. Each of the main courses was delicious, with the fish and chicken standing out in particular. This is definitely the best Indian meal I've had in years!
