San's Sandwiches - Gladstone

He's super friendly and the food is great! Banh mi are so flavorful with fresh veggie toppings. Also, the peanut sauce with the spring rolls is good enough to bathe in. I'd share pics of the banh mi we ordered, but we demolished them too fast. STILL AMAZING. First I had pho and Vietnamese coffee. It was still good, and still worth a stop in. Prices are decent and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Food looked good. I had a lot of time to look at it as I stood awkwardly at the front. About 10 minutes passed and no one said a word to me, just kept making food. So I left. Maybe idk how it works here but I'd be nice if someone greeted me or helped me.

They serve good food here. I like the bun bo hue. It isn't very spicy, though. Today they gave me 2 pork bones in there and usually it's really thick and plenty of meat but this time it was just the bone. The eggrolls aren't much to write home about. It seems like they are just store bought and fried. The pho was a favorite of my mom's. She enjoyed it. The customer service could be a bit better, but I think it's also because they don't really speak? The gentleman that took our order barely spoke … – show

I had to change my rating. This restaurant went from offering a nice sized portion to the smallest piece of steak possible. Prices are going up everywhere, but when I go eat in your restaurant, a 3 ounce piece of steak, 2/3's of which is fat. Not a one off either. That's the case the last 2 times I ate there. My wife and daughter like the food, so do I, but come on… Why reduce the portion on me. Disappointed to say the least.

The #13 is one of the most delightful things I've ever had the pleasure of shoving in my pie hole.
