They were open on a Sunday which was great, as many places in Girona ar... read more We'd booked Sinofos several months in advance as a special treat for my wife's birthday. They were open on a Sunday which was great, as many places in Girona are closed on a Sunday and Monday. When we arrived, the restaurant was very crowded and noisy and we were shown to our table. Twenty minutes later, someone came to take our order. We were informed that the tasting menu was not available at weekends without pre-booking. (Something that it would have useful to mention on our booking confirmation) We ordered a selection of small plates and a bottle of the house wine. Everything we had was very tasty, but the level of service and noisy atmosphere wasn't what we'd hoped.

Quite different restaurant with young team. We had white asparagus with delicate butter sauce, grilled tuna belly . We did not recognize this special taste of tune belly at the first bite and then it was perfect. Main course was their paella with aborio rice for two and rosé local wine The waiter was very knowledgeable also about local cuisine and wine. We had a good time
