When we entered we wanted to change... read more We arrived at the time of our reservation but the restaurant wasn't ready to accept us and asked us to return in 10 minutes. When we entered we wanted to change the table and they did that without any problem. We then had a problem understanding the size of the dishes and how many we needed for sharing between the two of us but that was made clear, correctly. From there on everything was PERFECT. The produce was of the very best, cooked to perfection. Once you understand that the premises are narrow and deep and not the most suitable for a restaurant and just concentrate on the incredible quality of the food you are in for a real treat.

The food was good but the service was pretty terrible. We waited outside the restaurant for about 5 mins, then waited another 20 mins to see a waiter for menus and water (most of the fish dishes were not available), ordered the food, then waited 10 mins for another waiter to come who could give us a glass of wine. So 30 mins just to get a glass of wine and the restaurant wasn't even massively busy. Food came quickly and was good but one of the dishes didn't turn up even after we chased it (it was on the bill though and was taken off). Just felt the experience by the waiting staff was pretty poor and we felt a nuisance rather than any sense of enjoyment from the evening.
