Feedback
In recent evaluations, a local restaurant has garnered mixed reactions from patrons. While many diners praise its delicious food, including standout menu items like the Pork Belly Philly and Carmel macchiatos, inconsistent service and quality remain a concern. Customers have reported negative experiences, including food poisoning and poor treatment of staff, hinting at possible management issues. Customer service appears variable; some encountered prompt and respectful staff, while others felt neglected. Despite the restaurant’s efforts to improve, including new hires and attentive management, its fluctuating hours and inconsistent food quality leave diners uncertain about future visits. Balancing these elements could restore its initial allure.
I enjoy the food at this restaurant. Make sure to add beer cheese to your Philly sandwich if you prefer a runny cheese, otherwise it will just be regular cheese. The only issue with this place is that they have inconsistent hours of operation, so it can be hit or miss when visiting during normal business hours. I'm not sure what's going on with that.
My friend and I stopped at this place for something different, first time was a little disappointing, tried them again..This placeos a no for me. They don't offer any condiments for your meal, I asked for mayo, the drowned the sandwich, the fries were brunt and hard. They were nice about giving me a refund but I feel like this was deliberately done to us. I will never return.
I wish the Philly cheesesteak had onions and peppers, but that was my fault for not reading the ingredients. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. This will definitely be a favorite spot for my family.
I have to preface this by saying I don't mean to be a detriment to their business, and the new owners are very friendly. However, since buying the Philly shop, the food is not as good as it used to be. Hopefully this feedback just leads to thingsgetting better. Having said that, I have gone a couple times since the Philly shop was sold again, and I have been verydisappointed in the food. Again, the staff has been great and friendly, but I'm left not only disappointed, but missing the foodthat used to be served. First, I went to try the philly since they had clearly changed them. Previously, they had fried bread, pork belly, and beer cheese. These are all sadly absent from the menu. You now have soft bread, shaved beef, and melted cheese. The peppers and onions are all diced where they were bigger chunks before. It wasn't bad, but it was nowhere near as good asthe pork belly beer cheese Philly I was used to. I was disappointed but willing to try other things. One of the benefits ofthe takeover was adding a lot more menu items. Burgers and chicken are now on the menu. More options are great, as long asthey're good options. Unfortunately, so far, that did not seem to be the case. I didn't see chicken anywhere on the drive upmenu (though I had seen it online), but whatever, I figured I'd try a burger anyways. I got a bacon cheese burger that had a1/4lb patty that was super salty, and a small arrangement of lettuce shards and onion in a mac-like sauce for $7. It lookedlike something someone slapped together at a fast food restaurant. The side of ranch was surprisingly good though and was theonly thing that cut the saltiness of the burger. All in all, my experience was that the portions look smaller, and the qualityis worse than it used to be. I'll revisit later and update my review if it gets better, but for now, it needs a lot of work.
I ate here with the previous owner. It?s a fantastic place. I really hoped I would been able to eat here again once I moved to the area. Unfortunately they were still closed and I?m out of state for who knows how long. I really hope they?re open when Iget back. It?s the first thing I want when I get home.
