If you are in the mesa area make sure to visit downtown Gilbert and go for Prickly Pear ice cream. They have a lovely deck area with umbrellas where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. We make sure we come for ice cream everytime we come to Mesa! And if you like mixing flavors...try the lime dip!

Definitely fun to try. Had the Topo Loco burrito with chicken. Loved the spice and the crunch from the fritos. This burrito could be shared if you're planning on getting ice cream. Also tried the soft serve prickly pear ice cream. Interesting flavor, not in love with it. In hindsight I should have tried it as a twist with vanilla to help tone down theunique flavor of the prickly pear.

I’m definitely coming back to try the ice cream. Topo is a great, tasty choice if you want to skip the long wait and expensive meals on a weekend night.
