Local Eats - Gilbert

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with rich and delicious dishes, but I can only give it 2 stars due to the service. We had to wait a long time to be noticed, our drinks took too long to arrive, and overall the service was subpar. Although there was only one server working and it was busy, he did not seem experienced enough to handle the workload. Three other groups even left while we were there, which I have never seen before. I hope that the management reads this review and decides to hire more servers or adjust their workflow, as the business should not suffer due to poor service when the food is so good.

The food was amazing and the service was friendly. The chicken tacos were fantastic and the pizza was also delicious.

The food here is a 5. Rich ?, delicious ? but onto the reason for 2 stars. The service was pretty awful. We sat for a long time before even getting noticed, drinks took longer than they should've, etc. To be fair there was a single server on and it was busy. I've been in the service industry for long enough to know a seasoned pro, he was not. 3 other groups got up while we were there and walked out, I've never seen that personally. My hope is management sees this and hires more servers, or somehow adjusts the workflow because this business shouldn't go under because of poor service when the food is this good.

This was my first visit to Local Eats, a sandwich shop that I absolutely loved. It is definitely deserving of a 5-star rating! The sandwiches had excellent taste, were a good size, and all at a very affordable price.
