Nova Kitchen - Gibsons
Nova Kitchen
Description
The Drift restaurant offers a stunning view from their balcony, but the dining experience is mixed. The a la carte service was explained clearly by the server, but the small portions may leave diners hungry. The menu descriptions were different from the actual dishes served, and there were issues with the craft beer served in a can. Some customers were disappointed with the food quality, while others praised the service and atmosphere. Overall, there is room for improvement in terms of consistency and customer service at the restaurant.

We had a fantastic lunch at Drift Cafe and Bistro, complete with a delicious pot of coffee! The portions were ample and the prices matched the high quality of food and atmosphere. We first visited a couple of years ago and will be sure to return on our next trip to the area, which we hope will be soon!
The restaurant is in a wonderful location overlooking the ocean. The service was warm, friendly, and inviting. The food was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view and the staff is friendly and quick. However, the portion sizes are small and do not match what is listed on the menu. In the end, we left feeling hungry and disappointed despite the high bill. Overall, it was not good value for money and we do not plan on returning.
This is surely the best patio and view in Gibsons. Dinner was delicious and service very good. Would prefer all in meals vs. single plates but food was still very good. All in all a wonderful evening.
A wonderful deck overlooking the harbour makes for a relaxing setting. However, we found the food disappointing. At 7:30 pm on a weekend, the server said the restaurant had no seafood available whatsoever. We ordered off the vegetarian menu (a great idea! and the cauliflower steak was a thin slice of cauliflower which, along with five falafel balls, while tasty, seemed skimpy for $20. Everything else we ordered was just 'meh '.
