our favorite appetitor was just like that this time. they said they had only one more command of mush, so we decided to share them. the muddles were chewy and “painted their best before the date” I believe. we had one for the cook, but he said it was good. our seafood linguini was however excellent as usual. we enjoyed JJ’s in pastness and we look forward to christmas. but we were disappointed this time. it was a set menu that was extremely overpriced compared to its usual menu. her Christmas meal did not come near her steak and seafood plate that we had ordered. we were still hungry after the meal and ended up to another resterated to eat more. A cozy restaurant with great service and food! I would highly recommend dinner here.
Very noisy. Little soft furnishings to absorb noise. Music inaudible and adding to the din. Cold entering from door to patio which was left open on a number of occasions. Food was very good but not able to communicate with guest.
We'll be back! Very good food, reasonable selection, good service, limited wine menu and a little on the high side (wine). Great ambiance too bad it's so far out of the centre of town, but worth the trip!
