You enjoy the views from yo... read more We stayed at Hotel Platten for 1 week and enjoyed half board. The setting is high above Gersau with wonderful views of Lake Lucerne. You enjoy the views from your room or the restaurant or both if you pay for a room with a view. Marta, the owner is a lovely person who is passionate about giving her guests the best experience. Chef Lukas is talented and we looked forward to the meal we had each night. My wife has some food intolerances and Marta took care of that. She went above and beyond. Breakfast in the morning is fine to set you up for the day. We would love to stay with Hotel Platten again and recommend fellow travellers to try out this venue for food which we thought was comforting, tasty and filling.This is only our second review on Tripadvisor but we thought it worth the effort to repay the enjoyable experience we had.
