Yes, the prices may seem high (Switzerland is a very expensive country for tourism) but once we had tasted our two dishes, we did not regret the price. For those who eat meat or who only want to eat it when they know and choose the sector, I can only recommend organic beef from a local farm. The accompanying rösti croquettes were just delicious and the little frozen seasonal vegetables were a real delight. The desserts were simple but delicious. As for the location, while the hotel and the room seem from another age, on the heights of Gersau, with a view of the lake, on the terrace in fine weather, it's just idyllic! On the other hand, if you are not comfortable with winding and narrow mountain roads, take your courage in both hands because the cuisine is worth it! As for the waiter, although not very comfortable with English, he made an effort to translate the menu for us (Gersau being located in German Switzerland).
