Brea... read more This restaurant is fantastic. The service and food are both excellent. The Friday fish fry is a must-try, as well as the chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun. Breakfast is delicious, and the pies and homemade ice cream are top-notch. I don't understand the negative reviews - this place is amazing. Don't let the haters deter you, give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for good home-cooking and nice people in a small town, you should check out Kj's. I've eaten there before and I would say the food is very good. It's not the typical restaurant in that many things are HOMEMADE. How many restaurants can boast that they make their own pies and ice creams or that they make biscuits and gravy regulary? (not to mention the homemade croutons, fried apples, and chips that I love. My personal favorite at Kj's is breakfast, but they serve it anytime of day so there isn't any need to get up early. Personal reccomendation: the Sampler. It has a little bit of everything which includes a bcuit w/ gravy, egg, a pancake, and a few other things. Check it out if your hungry!
