Although I haven't tried their pies, I've heard they are delicious. The service can be a bit slow, depending on the server. I would give them 4 stars and definitely plan on returning for more meals.

The dishes are homestyle and filling, and the prices are reasonable. The food reminds me a lot of home-cooked meals. They offer classic dishes such as chicken and dumplings, hot browns, cabbage rolls, and beer battered fish on Fridays, as well as diner favorites like BLTs, Reubens, and club sandwiches. Their soups are also delicious. Be sure to try KJ's!

Breakfast is delicious, and the pies and homemade ice cream are top-notch. I don't understand the negative reviews - this place is amazing. Don't let the haters deter you, give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for good home-cooking and nice people in a small town, you should check out Kj's. I've eaten there before and I would say the food is very good. It's not the typical restaurant in that many things are HOMEMADE. How many restaurants can boast that they make their own pies and ice creams or that they make biscuits and gravy regulary? (not to mention the homemade croutons, fried apples, and chips that I love. My personal favorite at Kj's is breakfast, but they serve it anytime of day so there isn't any need to get up early. Personal reccomendation: the Sampler. It has a little bit of everything which includes a bcuit w/ gravy, egg, a pancake, and a few other things. Check it out if your hungry!
