Customers appreciate the manager's hands-on approach and the varied menu options. Some diners have noted improvements since new ownership took over, with standout dishes like the pretzel sticks and chicken tenders. Overall, Forest Hill Grill seems to be a solid choice for a casual lunch or dinner, with many patrons planning to return for more tasty meals in the future.
This was my first visit to this place as the property changed from the original Belmont Grille. I thought the atmosphere, the service and the food were an improvement. The Brezel Stick appetizers could have been the best I've ever eaten. I had the Chicken Newport special, which was quite delicious with excellent quality, delicate chicken. Our server was also friendly and attentive throughout the meal. A note of caution was that no one in the restaurant knew about OpenTable and that a reservation had been booked. Fortunately, the restaurant was almost empty, but that could be a big problem in a busy night. Overall, the meal was satisfied and would be back in the future for a nice, casual lunch or dinner.
