I'm in Soul Fish every week sometimes twice a week . This place is always on point... Their food is delicious and always served fresh and hot... My fav is the Fish and Shrimp Platter w/ Fries... And the desserts are delicious also, especially the Pecan Pie and Banana Cake...No pics this time but I got y'all on my next visit! View all feedback.
What Cliffley Cliffley doesn't like about Soul Fish Cafe:
The fish was good.... I wouldn't have minded some actual Cajun seasoning on it though. The buffalo shrimp was good, but since it was all piled on top of the fries, the fries were a big soggy, nasty mess. The cole slaw was great. The hush puppies were dense and sopping with grease, which was a shame, because I was looking forward to some yummy crisp, fluffy hush puppies... the French fries were floppy and sopping with... This review is for Soul Fish Café Catering Service. I write it here because I think the catering service is based on this place. I had an employee dinner for 50 people. The menu consisted of roasted catfish, smoked chicken quarters, hush puppies, fries, Cole Slav, pickled green tomatoes with sweet and unsweetened tea. Every thing was freshly cooked and perfectly prepared and presented on site. The smoked chicken is cooked in the house and delivered fresh, warm and very tasty. I haven't heard any complaint from any diner. Only praise and approval. Your catering menu offers many possibilities so you don't have to stick with the menu we have chosen. Jessie, the catering manager, was very helpful in planning the event and the staff they brought with it were very friendly and efficient. Pricing is very reasonable, especially given the plentiful amount of food. If you plan an event, I recommend contacting Jessie at Soul Fish Café!
Too many pages. This is the only problem you choose!? I've settled on the Mac and cheese brilliantly with my black cat. Probably expensive, casual, but highly recommended!
DELISH. Make yourself a favor and try their fried green tomatoes and fried pimples. Your catfish is also the BEST.
Who left the salt. Cook spilled the salt shaker in food. Everything was salty. Go home to get a glass of water. Previous visit was excellent. Try again, but worry about food quality. Service excellent for informal food
Ambience wasn't all that great but BUT clean and good customer service and food was Yummy especially the cabbage ! ....two thumbs up !
