This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's a super fun dining venue that takes you back to the 1950s. The veggie omelet was delicious, especially with the added jalapeños and without the bell peppers. The grits were tasty, even when plain. The waitress was very sweet.
The food and service at this restaurant was excellent! We ordered the ham and cheese omelette and the Denver omelette. Our server, Sarah, was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning. Just a heads up, they do not accept American Express!
It can be difficult to locate this restaurant, as it is tucked away behind the first building on the right after turning off the highway. The signage is not very noticeable, and they have a $2.00 charge for splitting an entree. However, the food was fantastic. We shared the chicken fried chicken, which was moist and delicious, while the green beans and mashed potatoes were also excellent.
Just learned about this little cafe on Williams Dr. It was a very cozy place to eat a traditional American breakfast of an all meat omelette, hash browns and an English muffin. All day breakfast is one of their offerings. The wait staff was all very nice, energetic, timely and friendly. We can't wait to go back to try some of the other traditional cafe lunch and dinner fixings.
Hands down one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in the Austin area. We stopped by when they were providing a buffet breakfast and ate until we couldn't eat anymore. They also have a omelet bar where they will prepare it for you and bring it to your table. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive we never had an empty drink once. 10/10 recommend this to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or brunch.
