This restaurant is delightful and cozy. The food is excellent—delicious and freshly prepared. Sarah attended to us this evening, and she provided exceptional service with a warm smile.
I found the food to be bland and tasteless, one note. Appetizer shrimp something so mushy, horrible mouth feel. I will not be going back and after reading about the hair, I can 't even finish my food.. hair is the simplest to remedy. I paid $27 something, gross. I 'll order pizza for delivery for $27 : '
Sadly they were closed when we drove from libertyhill to try them out. Google said they were open, standard times say they are open, even the posted sign claiming July 11 they will be closed didn't talk about them being closed. I guess call em before you head over!
This is the first Chinese restaurant I've found that truly captures the flavors I grew up loving. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and my meal was served in no time. I was especially impressed with the egg rolls; they reminded me of the ones I enjoyed while living in California. While they may seem like a small part of the meal, they really enhanced my overall experience. It's wonderful to discover a Texas restaurant that offers such delicious food. Thank you for bringing me back to the comforting tastes of my childhood!
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for 20 years and have always enjoyed great service and delicious food. However, my recent visit may have been an exception. I arrived around 1:15 PM on a Friday and was seated quickly, but there were hardly any other customers—only one table occupied. Since I was in a bit of a hurry and had about 30 minutes for lunch, I noticed several employees standing around. After sitting for about five minutes and watching two staff members clean the only two dirty tables, I asked if there were any waitstaff available. I received a blank stare and a response that “someone will be with you shortly.” At this point, I was concerned that I wouldn't make it within my time limit for lunch. It's disappointing because this place used to be top-notch when Leo was managing. I mentioned my experience to Devon on my way out, but unfortunately, I didn’t have time to stay and eat. The takeaway from this visit is to allow yourself ample time for a meal there, even when the restaurant isn’t busy. I might consider giving it another chance in the future, but unfortunately, today’s experience warrants a failing grade.
