Located near the bustling Stabroek Market, this venue offers a mix of experiences. The hotel accommodations disappoint with poor Wi-Fi, cleanliness issues, inconsistent service, and pricing disputes, though the staff is generally friendly. In contrast, the attached bar provides a lively refuge from the hectic surroundings, featuring attentive service, cold drinks, and enjoyable entertainment, albeit with slightly higher prices. Visitors praise the bar’s atmosphere and affordability, making it a popular local spot. While the lodging leaves much to be desired, the vibrant bar scene offers a worthwhile escape in the heart of Guyana.

We had a great time at Demico Place. We visited her bar in the evening with friends and family. The servers were very attentive, the drinks were ice cold, the food was delicious and the entertainment was also great. We saw a very different amount, the prices were very affordable and we had a great time. The No.1 bar in town for people visiting Guyana.

Still at hotel... bathroom has a rubber mat when lifted full of mold.... took two days for housekeeping to show. ..have not see housekeeping since garbage piled up ants all over ... staff moody some nice others attitude. .never see manager....breakfast not consistent mostly cold. ... never take orders right.....worst place ever...after finally seeing management asked about housekeeping as they have been invisible throughout my stay...night before I leave reception brings me clean towels and sheets seriously....poorest service....

This charming little bar is located right in the Stabroek market area. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and take a break from the hustle and bustle, especially considering the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe at times. You can enjoy a cold beer while soaking in the stunning views from the top floor. There’s also security at the entrance to ensure a safe experience. The only downside is that the drinks are slightly pricier than those at other nearby establishments.
