Small little pub on old Georgetown main st. We get sat at the front of the pub. Limited seating. They won't allow reservations to be made. We order drinks. There were 10 adults and our twin toddlers. We were there for a few drinks and dinner. Showed up 630pm.i order vodka cranberry. It was ok. Waitress comes back. Empty glasses left on the table. I order another. A friend tells waitress bring me 2. So I get a pint glass with cranberry. 1 single bar shot. I passed it around to a few. They tried it. Sure enough. No way it was a double. My friend orders stuffed broccoli bites. They were way overcooked. Almost burnt. Some didn't have anything inside. They gladly remade them. Much better the 2nd time. I ordered 3 lbs of wings. 2lbs honey garlic. 1 lb honey garlic and Sriracha. My wings were so overcooked. They replaced 1 lb. We brought them home. Ate one later that night. It was so red inside. As were the rest. Bill was well over a 100. I understand waitress trying to make a living. Wasn't her fault directly. So I tipped her very well. But I won't be back to that place.
Was with a group of 5. Had to ask for service each time we needed it even though there was only a handful of people in the pub. We had to ask for menus and was given 3 for 5 people. I have been going to this pub since it opened as the food was consistently good. That is no longer true, the last 4 times I have been the food quality was poor. French onion soup tasted like water and had almost no cheese. Had to return chicken tenders as they were bricks. Steak pie meat was not cooked long enough and could not chew. I hope this is not the beginning of the end for a Georgetown staple.
The food and service is exceptional! I love coming here! Today our table was served by Abby who gave us great service and made us feel very welcome! I'll be back again! Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I haven't been here in years but went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Service was abysmal. They were out of staples like mashed potatoes. I ordered a Fisherman's platter and the coleslaw was undressed, there were about 3 fries on the plate and the shrimp was way overdone, like almost black. The service is much worse than the food. I've seen the waitress 3 times. Never checked in to see how the food was or if we needed anything. I really felt like because we weren't ordering alcohol she dismissed us completely, even though we have about 80$ on our bill. I've watched other tables get decent service, food before us when they were seated and ordered after us. Even getting the bill and paying and leaving while we're sitting here being ignored. Not at all impressed and will not be returning.
We have been coming here since 2020, we have always had exceptional service and quality food. I just noticed the reviews that must have been left by a couple, saying they were out of some food. Restaurants often run out of menu items, especially small ones. It’s very possible that they had an unexpectedly busy weekend. It happens, I have never had a bad experience here. Price per person: $20–30
