Arrived Geneva on a Sunday and as most of shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays and close early on other days, I had very limited choices. I passed by Trattoria and ordered Gnocchi aux fruits de mer, the price is very consistent and affordable in comparison to the city prices, like 25 CHF for the plate as good as I recall, and the serving size is huge, I barely managed to finish my plate, but the waiter insiste... Ho mangiato un pranzo di lavoro, velocità nel prendere l'ordine, velocità per l'esecuzione della pizza. Impasto buono e leggero. Per essere a Ginevra un buon livello, certo che con 17 franchi svizzeri si potrebbe fare di più.... Ma siamo a Ginevra e quindi i prezzi sono allineati con il resto dei ristoranti. The service was good, the waitress was even sorry for the final bill of 98 chf for 8 industrial limoncello, even though we had wine and an aperitif. 1 third of the bill for 8 limoncello?!?! The boss just wanted to offer a third one to apologize. Pizza meh, elephant ear we don't even talk about it. Basically the boss is bedridden and remains on his achievements from 20 years ago. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.
Nice restaurant and excellent cuisine. The server is professional, friendly and does his job well. We will come back to this.
