One of the best meals we had in Norway. Everything was fresh and tasty and locally swelling. Service was excellent. A great view. You can hike up a beautiful path at the waterfall to get there. Very recommended.
The food is exceptional, the view is stunning, and the people who work there are friendly and friendly. It feels like a secret place to cross two gates to get there, but that's just to keep the sheep in. Very recommended.
Had a wonderful dinner with delicious, special, vegetarian curry sweet potato soup and an extra lubricated potato. We enjoyed the service of a very nice, trusted waitress. The day after we had some very nice waffles. Bonus: many trekking options around the parking lot, we had two beautiful tours in a sunny day. Recommendations for the restaurant: 1. It is a bit too expensive, although the geiranger is. 2. It would have been nice if the lunch menu had some options for food without fish pig. 3. Keep some chocolate for the waffles : 4. Iced coffee for a hot day and warm apple wine for the cold would be a wonderful option for the hikers :
Restaurant in an old farm offering small rustic apartments for rent in an adjoining chalet and in an idyllic setting overlooking Geiranger and its fjord. The place is the starting point for several hikes ranging from green to red in difficulty. Very warm welcome and very friendly service. The restaurant has a limited menu but savourous meals (especially the goat meal. Worth a detour and is a good way to stay in the Geiranger mountains. Strongly recommended
