Bay Leaf - Gedling

I have used this restaurant for the second or third time now. The service is excellent - very polite and professional whether inside for takeout or on the phone. The prices are good, especially with the discount offered online, and the food is delicious. I collected my order and it was still hot by the time I got home, thanks to the careful packaging with cardboard between the food boxes. These guys are now my favorite spot for takeout. It's the little things like this that make all the difference in the quality of service.

We had ordered from this restaurant before and were excited to try the food again. However, we were extremely disappointed to receive food that was of poor quality, cold, and bland. It seemed like there may have been a change in chef because it was nothing like our previous orders. The daal was watery and tasteless, and when I expressed my disappointment, I was told that's how it's made. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering from here again.

Whenever we try curry from other places, the kids always complain that it's not as good as Bay Leaf. They are great at accommodating individual requests, delivering on time, and serving delicious curries. Fantastic experience!

This is a fantastic takeaway. Tried for first time tonight and was greatly impressed. 5* star rated.... had the meal for 2 and it could have fed 4... the quality was lovely and the price great. Would recommend to all.

I’ve been visiting this takeaway for a very long time and the food has been consistently great. The curries are flavoursome and the starters are fabulous. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
