What ur mom doesn't like about Cafe Des Sentiers Parc De La Gatineau:
I had to wait 20 minutes for a wrap and an espresso, only to end up with a cappuccino instead of a double espresso at the price. I do not recommend going there for lunch. View all feedback.
La vue est magnifique, le café excellent et le service impeccable!
Beautiful well lit place, friendly staff, delicious and affordable food and coffee. I went to study and it’s perfect: big tables, taken, no selling pressure. perfect to finish the session in beauty!

Nice place, nice place. excellent choices and varieties of meals, bites, refreshments, coffees, teas and desserts.
I am writing this review about the cross country ski area and cafe that my husband and I visited this past weekend. We have only been to this location in winter, and this was our second time visiting in the month of February. When it snows and stays cold, there is nothing better than the 124 mile groomed cross country trails at Gatineau Park! The Relais offers parking, equipment rentals, indoor bathrooms, and a cafe serving delicious food and beverages. There is a fire pit outside to warm up by, and plenty of indoor seating. The trails cater to skiers of all levels, with open and flat trails, hills, wooded paths, and twists and turns. My husband and I, who are intermediate to advanced skiers, enjoyed skiing in different environments for hours. The trails are well marked and groomed for both classic and skate skiing, with maps available. During our recent visit, we were with friends who had never cross country skied before. We called ahead to reserve equipment through the website and the staff were helpful, friendly, and patient. When our friend was given skis that were much too long for her, they were able to accommodate us with shorter ones, which helped her learn faster. The manual binding system on the rental skis was a bit challenging, but our friends found the boots to be comfortable. The cafe at the Relais was fantastic, offering a variety of food and drinks. Despite the young staff running the place during our visit, they managed to get all orders correct and the food was hot and tasty. While there were some issues with the cleanliness of the restrooms and the lack of ski patrol on the trails, independent and capable skiers will appreciate the convenience and quality of this location. I recommend supporting the park system by purchasing day passes. Overall, this place is fantastic for those looking to ski, warm up, and enjoy a snack in a beautiful setting.
