Being from Montreal, we did not know this restaurant. We decided to drop in for some pizza. What an amazing gem of a restaurant that more people should know. For a family-owned restaurant, you can feel the pride that goes into their food. The staff is also very welcoming. You definitely get a lot for your money. We recommend this restaurant. Family-friendly also. View all feedback.
What Therese Donnelly doesn't like about Amicci Pizza:
Amicci was a wonderful little place to eat at. Unfortunately, the then owner sold his place and it went downhill. The food is still decent but nowhere near as good as it was. But it is still better than many others in the area. View all feedback.
We have eaten here many times and it's always delicious. Tonight we ordered the house special pizza that we always ordered and we were very disappointed. We got takeout and as soon as I opened the box I knew something was wrong. The crust was so paper thin! I couldn't even taste the crust! Now, I love thin crust pizza but this place doesn't serve it so it's not what I was expecting. After one bite we called immediately to complain and the restaurant didn't even care. They just said that it's how they've always made it and it's so thin because they put too many toppings on it. Seriously? We've had it many times and always loved the thick crust! Did not offer to make us a new pizza...nothing. Apparently we were wrong and they could do no wrong. Bad customer service! I will never be back.
You must try the "special amicci," try the special amicci house, a must !we command most of the time (at 3 minutes from the resto.,) ultra fast delivery, never disappointed. About 10 years ago at work we had a test on 7-8 Friday noon, what is the best pizzz in town (Hull area.,) amicci was in mind., yes tried gab. Pizza, corti. pizza, pizza la Diffé...(normal), brief have all tried them., again today, amicci is in the tops according to us., quiet resto that once the pizzz served they leave you quiet to taste it, beers available., very diversified menu, Portuguese, pasta, etc.,
