Description

The reviews for the Lambs Arms showcase a mix of experiences. While some customers found the food to be standard pub grub with good service, others had dismal, disappointing meals. Complaints included overdone beef, cold potatoes, and rude staff. However, positive experiences highlighted delicious meals, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the Lambs Arms offers a variety of quality pub food with changing specials and a warm, friendly welcome. It’s a hit or miss depending on the individual experience.

£11,636.39!! I had to do a double take when I checked the balance this morning! Wahoo! On behalf of the whole family we'd like to thank Lorna,...

It's areet like! They put up with my drunken antics so it can't be that bad! 5 Stars

Dismal meal, very basic, meals-on-wheels esque. Home-cooking would have been better Artificial looking and tasting feeble slices of (canned? meat. All ingredients looked like they had been under warmer-lights for hours. Minuscule portion of roast-Potatoes were cold and looked 24 hrs old, dried and shrivelled. Overdone beef, mostly —literally inedible. Service; Parts of the order did not appear, had to send a reminder. Rude, patronising, matron-like older staff. Also, no privacy from other punters. Weird atmosphere. Such a disappointment for a meal in this day and age, maybe passable in the 1960/s70s at a rough auld working men’s. Actually makes today’s Wetherspoons seem upmarket. A ruined afternoon. Abysmal experience. One to AVOID. Left with a bad taste in the mouth in more ways than one.

We decided at the last minute to make a reservation for some food and drinks so we could take advantage of the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme, as well as the fact that we hadn't eaten here in a while. They were able to accommodate us on short notice, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It's not often that I finish a full meal, but we both ordered the Hunter's Chicken and finished every last bite because it was so delicious! The chips were perfect, the chicken was tender, and the bbq sauce was lovely. It's definitely worth going out on a Wednesday night. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu. :)
