The food was delicious and our group from the 1st Heddon-on-the-wall Brownies had a fantastic time. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Another 2 groups of people... read more Me and my husband visited during our Christmas shopping day. Seemed relatively quiet so thought it would be ideal for a quick lunch. Another 2 groups of people and ourselves waited in the entrance for quite some time, I initially thought people were debating wether to go in, however it transpired they were waiting to be seated. We were seated quite abruptly, menus slapped down on the table and that was that. Ordering was straightforward and fairly prompt. We ordered starters and a pizza to share. Food arrived in good time. Wasn't overly impressed with the food but it is what it is. The service was where the main issue lay. Having already witnessed another table complain I gave the benefit of the doubt. Our original waiter left and we were then served by someone else. We sat with empty glasses for the duration of our visit, waited for extras that we never received and in the end asked for the bill, again something we never received. Luckily my husband downloaded the app and managed to access our bill which we paid remotely. I'm not even sure anyone noticed us leaving. People were being turned away even though it was half empty. Tables were left dirty throughout the visit. All in all not the best experience

I recommend checking the app for deals, as there always seems to be one available.
