The DUCK CIGARS were perfect?I also ordered the MAIN EVENT salad with tenderloins (medium) and shrimp?steak was overcooked barely even pink inside but at least it was tender?shrimp were okay but the greensweren?t consistent (see picture)?no way ANY of the lettuce should have looked like this. My order was to go?guy over the phonewas super nice. Inside seems to be a vibe. I?m going to try brunch this weekend in hopes it will be better. Heard great thingsabout this place?but my salad left much to be desired. The Duck Cigars and (I almost forgot) the Italian dressing werewonderful! Service was good. Salad was mid especially for the price. These days few places are consistent in every area. It?s achallenge with hiring folks to execute in the way you as the owner or manager would or expects. Anyway, they weren?t busy so Ifigured I was safe but like I said I will give them another chance (fingers crossed that brunch will be better)

My dinner and dessert paired well with my drinks and the overall conversation, selection and atmosphere was refreshing. Heeasily could have paid no mind to me, but instead went out of his way to engage in conversation. 10/10 would recommend thisestablishment to anyone in the area.

Our waitress told us the history, which I found to be very interesting. I loverestaurants that were previously something else like a bank, but in this case its a theatre. Service: Good service, water wasbarely empty and food came out in a timely manner. Waitress was very nice. In terms of the service I received when I walked in,I was not a fan. The host talked to me in this angry tone. We were a younger party, but I expect to be treated thesame. Artisan bread (7/10): Decent bread to start. I didn?t like how I had to pay for it though. It was OK bread, nothingspecial. Duck Cigars (6/10): Pretty good. I liked the sauces. But the cigars didn?t have much of a duck taste, instead ittasted like a vegetable spring roll. Lamb rack (5/10): Eh, pretty OK. Good flavors in the sauce, and the lamb was tender. BUT,it was cooked way off? Asked for med-rare and got blue rare. Kinda disappointing for the price and reputation this place has. Idon?t like to send food back because then you eat when your party is already done. Also, for the price, I was expecting anentire rack. Truffle fries (8/10): Great fries a bit too much cheese though. I love truffle fries but these had too much cheeseimo. So I think this place is cool and all, but experience was lacking. I?ve heard great things about this place, but myexperience wasn?t that good. I would like to re-try this place sometime again, but for now I have to keep the low rating.

I ate the food before remem... read more If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. EVERYTHING was excellent; food, service, atmosphere. They even have valet parking. I ate the food before remembering to take photo. I had the Honey Hunter Chicken served with field peas andcollard greens. What?s interesting is this was an old theater. They remodeled and if on 2nd floor you can still watch oldmovies on big screen. I?m almost speechless and plan to visit again on my way back to MS. Highly, highly recommend eating hereand spending time just enjoy the scenery!!! There will be a wait if evening but you can always sit at bar, have a drink orappetizer and wait for table. You can also make a reservation. You have gotta go!!!
