Unfortunately,... read more Recently, I tried the Broadway location on Friday and then again on Sunday evening, and I’d gladly endure the long waits at 21st for great food. Unfortunately, my experience there was disappointing. The fries were undercooked, and the chicken was excessively salty and over-fried. Some parts of the meat were even translucent, as if they had been overcooked or fried too many times. At the 21st location, while the service was terrible, the food was consistently excellent—never a miss! I’ve been to the Broadway location twice, and while the service was much improved, the food fell short both times. I plan to give it one more try before sharing my photos from each visit and posting another review.

I’ve eaten and ordered from places that also make things “fresh” and “as it’s ordered” I’m also all for supporting black businesses but I HAVE NEVER ever waited over an hour for my food as consistently as these people have you waiting. Not only do you wait FOREVER… they LIE about the time it takes.. I thought I had learned to give them about a half hour longer than they tell you.. boy was I wrong. I called @6:40p she says about 20/25 min so I left to get my order at 7:30p.. I walked in she tells me about 7 more minutes. I gave 10 .. walked back in and she says 2 more minutes!! I WAS DONE!! ?And this is EVERY SINGLE time I have ordered. Food is decent but not worth that wait EVERY TIME! It’s no excuse.. wasn’t busy this day at all.. I tried with them I really did
