Driving thru the area one morning looking for a place to grab breakfast, and stumbled upon this place. Glad we did it was a solid choice for breakfast. Had their eggs benedict, and my wife had some fried eggs with hashbrowns toast. We both enjoyed the food, although the hollandaise sauce was not the best I've ever had. What vickie snyder doesn't like about Dutch Way Family Gap:
The staff is friendly and we had a good waitress but the food was horrible. The last time I was here the food was lousy so I thought maybe it was just a fluke . It’s usually pretty good , but this time it was bad too . The only good thing on my plate was the mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The lettuce in the salad tasted dirty , like it hadn’t been washed. Good food, good proportions. Grat service at good prices. Stop by when you are in the area.
Vegetarian options: Freshly cooked hot or cold vegetables ?

It’s usually pretty good , but this time it was bad too . The only good thing on my plate was the mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. The lettuce in the salad tasted dirty , like it hadn’t been washed. The Alfredo sauce in the chicken broccoli Alfredo tasted awful. It was yellow and was really thick more like gravy . Luckily they took it off our bill. The ham balls weren’t much better . I couldn’t even finish them. I asked if they had a new cook , they said no . But something is definitely different because the food used to be good . Even the dessert I got tasted old and had the taste of a walk in fridge.

More food than anyone of us could eat. Excellent waitress.
