I came here today to ask what type of veg options this restaurant has and spent several minutes being told that it is a waste to have those kinds of things in stock because they don 't sell well, despite the menu and signsoutside offering no meat dishes. While it 's not at all surprising to me that this is the case in central Newfoundland, thekind and respectful thing to do in this situation (and the best way I 've experienced this handled in the past) is to ask what Ican/do eat and offer to put something together. It wouldn 't be my first time eating a meal of side dishes in a pinch. Evensuggest dessert! Something!! To be completely dismissed without any effort at all is very disappointing. Please update yourmisleading signage.

My daughter ate it up like her own dad cooked it and the owner was such a kind man. Itotally recommend anyone from Gander checking it out. Dip into another culture and experience the food. The food still took over an hour to be ready. Rather than inform me of the wait the cook... or owner continued to string me along in 10 to 20minute intervals. When the food was finally ready it looked nothing like the photos on he menu at all. I did not take the foodand instead requested a refund which to their credit the restaurant did give. They also gave me the beef patties I had orderedon the house. While this was a kind gesture, given the circumstances it was too little too late. The beef patties themselvesbeing the only thing I ate were bland without any sort of jamaican flavoring at all. I will not be returning to this location.

Food was awesome, great jerk chicken and great curry chicken, both had lots of flavour, very well done
