One of our favorite family dining spots. We visited on Wing Wednesday, and the food was delicious as always. The restaurant was busy, but the service was excellent!
I had a great experience at the restaurant, thanks to our server, a nice young man named Coady. He did talk a bit too much about Pokémon, but it was still enjoyable. The food was good, although the wait was a bit longer than I would have liked. Overall, a nice visit!
This restaurant was quite busy during our visit on a Sunday evening, and we had to wait for a short while before being seated. The spacious interior effectively managed the noise from the crowd, making it a lively atmosphere without overwhelming conversation. As we wrapped up our meal, we noticed even more people waiting to be seated. There were large TVs showing a football game, which added to the ambiance. I ordered the Cod Tacos with a side salad for $15.99, and I was pleasantly surprised by how filling they were, especially considering they are one of the more affordable options on the menu. The location offers plenty of parking and is conveniently situated right on the TransCanada Highway. If you don't mind waiting for a table, you're likely to enjoy your meal here. While the menu primarily features chicken dishes (with a few exceptions, such as my cod tacos), there’s definitely something to satisfy your appetite at Jungle Jim's.
We popped in here for a drink thinking it was more of a pub atmosphere. It is not. Definitely a restaurant (maybe even a chain? . The night we were there it was packed because it was Kids Night. We sat at the bar for some nachos and beer. Nachos were ok, basically average. Service was prompt from the person manning the bar. Overall, if you want some food this seems to be a popular joint. If you are looking for just a drink, there are better options in the town. Food menu was large and affordable as well, and they have weekly specials. Next time we'll come back here to eat!
Despite this being a franchise, there's some definite care involved and the people either like their jobs or are good at faking it. They will go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. Food leave's something to be desired and is a bit campy and that was cool in the 90's but now kind of meh. Franchise though. What can you do? I guess you could modernize it to make it hip again but something tells me those dollar amounts rolling in don't make that failing worth considering for the people who make those kind of calls. Bring your kids there. They'll like it more.
