Highlight Restaurant - Gander
Highlight Restaurant
Description
A recent trip to this Chinese restaurant left diners with mixed feelings. The general consensus was that the food was average, with some dishes being better than others. The portions were generous and reasonably priced, making it a good option for larger groups. Despite some misses, standout dishes like the Almond Guy Ding and Szechwan Shredded Chicken were praised for being delicious and well-prepared. The service was noted as friendly and efficient, with some customers returning regularly due to the overall positive experience. While it may not be a top-tier Chinese dining option, it certainly offers a decent meal for a fair price.

It was my first time eating there and the food was great! It was not crowded at all. We ordered, and within 5-10 minutes, the food was on our table. Great service. I would definitely visit again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The egg roll was the worst I have ever eaten; I prefer the frozen ones from the grocery store. The vegetables were not fresh, mushy, and overcooked. The rice was steamed and mushy, with soy sauce but no chicken or vegetables, and definitely not fried. The portions were very small. I will never go back. This visit was today, November 15, 2033. Dining at this restaurant for dinner costs between CA$70 and CA$80 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere are all rated at 5 stars. Highly recommended dishes include the Beef Chop Suey, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Egg Roll. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot as one of the options.
