Good price to quality. Location a bit far from centre of Galway, but the spot is great close to the Prom and nice neighborhood. Room was clean and the bed very comfy. Good choice overall, the only downside were noisy other guests, the door shut very loudly in the corridor which was annoying at night. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tysons Seafood:
Casual, comfortable clean. All you'd need for a sleepover. Mattress was a bit hard and felt cheap though it didn't stop me from sleeping. Good pillows. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. No breakfast and although we didn't mind as we had other plans anyway, still, the rate was what I'd consider a B&B rate. View all feedback.
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are stunning, and the owners and staff provide exceptional care and attention. I am truly grateful for their hospitality.
We were meeting friends and decided to visit the Rockbarton Hotel what a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent and staff were very pleasant and helpful. I will certainly be back again as soon as it reopens. This restaurant has just recently opened under new...Management and I am sure they will do very well. Great atmosphere as soon as you entered the Hotel relaxing which suited us very well as we had not met for many months so had plenty to talk about. Ann
Just up from Salthill Hotel this is a great hidden Hotel and the service food is A plus and it has it all. Beautiful.
We had dinner here and opted for the seafood special which was hake, plaice and haddock in lemon butter (garlic was an option). We asked for salad and fries in preference for the vegetables which was no problem. A reasonable selection of wines, the NZ...Sauvignon Blanc went well with the fish. Friendly, engaging staff made the evening complete.
Tucked away in a housing development Tysons is a great favourite with local residents. Friendly and efficient staff, and a homely feel attract a mix of local families for a quiet dinner, or drinks on special occasions like Chrsitmas Eve when it is a gathering...point for many in the locality. Food is generally very reliable, there is often a fire lit, and it feels cosy and comfortable.
