What User likes about Taaffes:
Absolute top class service, especially from Victoria. Miserable raining night and she made us feel so welcome and took a drink order straight away! Lovely to see someone so in control of the floor View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Taaffes:
The man on the door was egotistical and very rude. Kicking people out for “singing” is that not what Irish Pub culture is? I was appalled by what went on and quite frankly that man was a disgrace. Never going here again. View all feedback.

Cordial, plain, simple, direct, work(wo)man like and a nice midday buzz.

read moreVisitors to this popular Irish pub in Galway have had mixed experiences with the staff. While some were appalled by rude behavior and treatment, others found the service top-notch. The presence of a red-haired girl seemed to evoke strong negative reactions from some patrons, while Victoria stood out as a shining example of excellent service. The atmosphere was lively, with live music creating a fantastic environment for patrons to enjoy. With reasonably priced food and drinks, this pub seems to be a hit with most customers, despite the occasional rude encounter.
