Execellent food. Accommodating, friendly, and pleasant place. Great customer service. The chef is happy with dietary requests. Superb place. Love it!
Not what I expected. I know there are restrictions but we were put in a small cramped little corner surrounded by 3 walls so no view whatsoever and right up against the toilet door!! Food was average.
We were so fortunate to come into O’Dowds after an amazing trip with John Sullivan and his lobster boat. The beer was delish, but more importantly, the people in that quaint little pub quickly became the most special and most memorable part of our vacation(we were visiting from the states). Loved meeting you and your patrons! Mary (the pourer of perfect head), Valerie (the cute and full of smiles girlfriend), and John (our goat-loving lobster tour guide)—you are all “feckin lovely!“
Friendly and Helpful Staff and Excellent Food
We actually ate at the Cafe not the pub and it was superb, two of us had a Connemara smoked salmon salad...oh it was gorgeous. The other person had a chicken salad sandwich. We had a Connemara pale ale and a Bogman IPA....both very scrummy.
