Mc Donagh's has been delighting visitors and locals alike for four generations with their expert knowledge of fish and dedication to customer service. Known as one of Ireland's premier seafood establishments, Mc Donagh's offers a wide variety of fish dishes in their Seafood Restaurant, including Clarenbridge Oysters, Salmon, Crab, Scallops, Prawns, Hake, Lemon Sole, Plaice, Haddock, Wild Mussels, Ray, and Smoked Salmon from Connemara. They have recently added Irish Rib Eye Steak from Mc Geough's Butchers in Oughterard Co. Galway to their menu. In the Fish Chips Bar, fish is cooked to order and served with the freshest of chips, made from potatoes peeled and cut on-site. Guests can enjoy their Fish Chips on the premises or take them away, with the option of outdoor seating available during the summer months.

Very quick service, friendly staff. The portion was huge, the pricing reasonable.
They have great fish n chips, but no sea food plater as shown in the pictures.
I had the fish and chips. The fish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chips were a bit dry, but the malt vinegar fixed that. The service was pleasant and efficient. No complaints whatsoever. I would recommend.
A great place for fish and chips. The atmosphere was comfortable and food was hot and delicious. I would recommend this place.
You absolutely must try the hake chips. They're so fresh and delicious.
