I enjoyed a pleasant lunch at the hotel, and I wanted to compliment Chef Mike. I had a delicious cauliflower and salad dish. Emma took great care of us, she was very friendly and made amazing coffee. Overall, a perfect 10/10 experience. Thank you to all the staff!

Some food was nice, most I have written in my main hotel review. Some staff really good, some not. They kindly brought in options for our yo who suffers allergies and food intolerances.

Food wasn't bad. Problem was the service. No existent. Even the restaurant manager seemed intent on ignoring me.

Dined here while staying at the hotel. Service manager is a great host (can't remember his name but starts with a L and checked up on us often. Seafood soup is delicious and chock full of seafood in large bowl. Mushroom appetizer was OK. Lamb...is served braised, more like a stew. The Hake fish was nicely cooked and moist. The server cleared the bread before the main course but would have been a nice accompaniment to the lamb dish. Wished carvery was served in the evening but is lunch only.
