Down in Galway for the weekend. Lovely meal out and retired to Freeney's for a couple of drinks afterwards. Asked for Covid cert, identity and signed in. Very comforting to know they are applying the rules. Great pint of Guinness and lovely staff and atmosphere. You must visit. Highly recommended View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Freeney's:
shockingly bad treatment to young 18-19-year-olds as I grow up. ignore us half the time and let us start the pub earlier than older people who are deliberately made unclear by the personal. would not be recommended for students. View all feedback.
Friendly efficient staff and a great pint. if they like whiskey, they have a choice, it would take them a week to read!
Great atmosphere, barman and merciful are so friendly.
This is a great old galway pub, we always look forward to seeing what more galway we meet here and it is on the whisky trail great employees too
What a great night was had and all of the bar staff are very friendly and helpful.
Good pub to visit if you want to have a chat without loud music. Good atmosphere
